spring - for minnesota

park comes up through city
scent the open grasslands

empty vistas
lakes and ponds

shine silver fluttering vibration
upward into the eye

a mirror with a searchlight behind

beside the shimmering water
disappear into the Spring

the heart and its longings
rising and flooding time

with its needs

disappearing into spring
by glittering pools

and floating away

on currents of clear desire

I have no words that seem adequate to the task of explaining just how great this poem is. Well done!
