Walls of Salt Water
Inside the curtain there is a secret chamber
And inside this chamber there is another chamber
And there is no end
Against the windowpane of my eyes
I saw a slowly cascading blur of salt water
And behind this blur - a shining vision
Of a secret chamber
Which admits me through gates
That cannot be opened by any battering ram
But a hand that parts gauze can do it
The gates are glass
But the glass melts into salt water
Salt water - the fish are moving freely
the Fish moves freely in a Circle
Outside churches the veils open
I sank to my knees on the blinding snow slope
And was crucified in a ray of sun
Adding salt water to the snow, to the earth, to the rocks
Everywhere
The chambers are opening to quiet hands
People are entering them
Sometimes alone, and at other times holding the
Hands of children, of lovers, of friends
Leaving the gift of salt water
And inside this chamber there is another chamber
And there is no end
Against the windowpane of my eyes
I saw a slowly cascading blur of salt water
And behind this blur - a shining vision
Of a secret chamber
Which admits me through gates
